Hello, finally I could fulfill my desire to write a review about Kypris Clearing Serum. Actually, I should write this review two or three days ago but it was suspended due to lack of blogging device because my laptop was borrowed.
In this post I decide to write it in dual language because from my observations of the blog stats, I got many readers from outside Indonesia and I want to appreciate readers from outside my country by writing it in English and Bahasa Indonesia. I am really sorry if my grammar is not good enough for you, because I have to admit that I am suck at grammar. But I really hope at least you could understand the big picture of my post.

In Indonesia this brand just begin to raise, some Indonesian skincare junkies already have it since…maybe last year? Meanwhile I kept my curiosity in my head.
Before I use this, I religiously use Kiehls Blue Herbal Moisturizer every morning for more than one year (I repurchased it 4 times) because my skin was really oily and I have many clogged pores, Kiehls Blue Herbal Moisturizer done a very good job in controling my oil, unclogging my pores and really support the healing of my zits.
But in the past two months my skin got really dry and the Blue Herbal Moisturizer worsen the condition but I keep using it until one month ago when my skin become super-dry, dull, cystic-nodular acne come and go like there’s no rest for my skin (yes, it’s not usual zits that disappear in three days nor comedones). Finally I can’t take it anymore – one of the acne on my chin got really big like a 2 centimeters marble! From the outside the skin looks just fine but when you touch my chin you can feel that nodular acne, so big and painfull and…I really desperate.
And then I started to think, maybe my skin needs some moisture, maybe this dryness irritated my skin and trigger the formation of that cystic nodular acne, because dry skin has a very bad self protection, it won’t able to keep the skin barrier intact and the skin regeneration will be altered – but what if I choose the wrong moisturizer/ serum that contain too much emollients or too rich for my acne prone skin and then end up with clogged pores? I don’t think I can add another problem for my skin at that time.

Well first time I read this, I was like : yea yea yea enough with the poet lets see what you got
And after I use it for 2 days (pair it with my lovely SK II Deep Surge Ex), I was like “I am not gonna live without this”
Beyond my expectation,it calms my skin REALLY well, give the cooling sensation and bla bla bla. Long story short : It does what it says in that poet.
Packaging?
It’s a blue glass bottle with a pipette. Yes it looks really fragile (the glass doesn’t look thick and heavy like Good Genes or SK II serums)
The pipette could take the product really well despite its gooey consistency.

Texture ?
First time I saw it, it looks like grayish mucous. Honestly I thought it’s gonna be sticky and all. But again, this is beyond my expectation. When it touched my skin I can feel the cooling and calming sensation, spreads really well, and sinks really fast and doesn’t leave any residue at all
Any fragrance?
I think the smell of the serum is not fragrance. Maybe it’s the smell of the ingredients mixture and the smell really calm me down.
How to use?
When my skin condition is just fine like this time, I only use this serum in the morning because it controls my oil without drying my face.
Morning : Facial Wash – Avene Spray – Kypris Clearing Serum – SK II Cellumination Deep Surge Ex – Sunblock
But when my skin irritated like one month ago, I use it morning and night before I sleep
Night : Facial wash – Avene Spray – SK II Facial Treatment Essence – Kypris Clearing Serum – SKII Cellumination Deep Surge Ex
Result?
I love this. This product able to control my oil without making my face dry like savanna, reduce my redness REALLY well, reduce the inflammation of my ongoing acne, aaand reduce small bumps on my forehead.
It really calm the nodular acne on my chin. The nodular acne got significantly smaller after I added this in my routine and finally this week the nodular acne completely disappear from my chin without any scar, thank God.
There’s no such thing as magic, so if you hope for a product that could make your skin blemish – free in one use than you’re looking for the wrong product. In fact, till this time, I never heard any product that could diminish acne to its core just in one use. Sorry to say.

Worth the price? Definitely yes.
Unfortunately they don’t have any store in Indonesia and if I want to buy it online, it’s really hard to get the product through the custom. So to minimize the risk and save my time I prefer to ask my friend to buy it when they on vacation to US/ UK.
Conclusion?
This is a great serum that will suit every skin type that have problems with any kind of irritated skin.
